Hi, I'm Gillian.

I love taking & making photographs. I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, on Canada's East Coast, within a short walk of the sea.

If you would like to get in touch, ask a question, or just want to say Hi, please feel out the contact form below. Thanks!

More about me

I started out as a kid with a Kodak 110 Instamatic, switched to an SLR in high school, then studied journalism. After gaining newspaper experience, I moved on to other careers, but photography has always been part of my life, and my work.

I love to explore with my camera, which means recording places on my travels and my growing passion for street photography, and I also love taking photos of people, whether that means a casual photo of someone I met on one of my walks, a more format portrait of a family gathering, or more documentary style photography of folks attending an event or participating in a wedding.

I have had my photographs featured in magazines & websites, on a book cover and a billboard. I look forward to working with you!

People

I am a documentary style photographer, so my focus is on the candid moments, the people, events as they happen. I believe photo sessions should be fun, not stressful! If this sounds like your style, too, please get in touch.

Events

All kinds of events need to be documented -- from dinners to family gatherings, parties, annual meetings, fund raisers, business events, tree-planting activities, barbecues and training sessions. Please contact me if you are looking for event coverage.
